Summary: This study contains synthesis, characterization and bio-screening of Acety pyrazolines. Different chalcones, pyrazolines and acetyl pyrazolines were synthesized by using acetophenone and various substituted benzaldehydes in resence of NaOH and methanol. Pyrazolines were obtained upon oxidative cyclization of synthesized chalcones in presence of hydrazine hydrate in methanol. Synthesis of acetyl pyrazolines was achieved by refluxing pyrazoline derivatives in glacial acetic acid. Structures of the compounds were confirmed by IR and EIMS. All prepared compounds were biologically screened for antioxidant and antimicrobial activity and they showed influential results.
