Multivitamin syrup is one of the major classes of over the counter drugs used by patients considering its safety. However; there are many herbal formulations that used for the treatment of the deficiency of multivitamins which needs to be standardization. Hence, in the present study, we attempted to carry out formulation and evaluation of multivitamin syrup by herbal extracts and minerals, viz evaluation parameters such as pH, viscosity, density, homogeneity, color, odor, taste, particle size and sedimentation. The results show the pH of the syrup was found to be 4-6 and viscosity was found 1.10g/mole which analysis to the standard accepted values. Due to the presence of calcium source in our formulation, it may be helpful for bone, teeth and skin health. The findings suggest that the formulation is worth for the vitamin deficient patients whose diet is insufficient to fulfill daily needs of body. It is totally herbal formulation that has no toxicity and can be used in the nutraceutical sector.
