Summary: The present research work was to carry out the physio-chemical quality of raw milk of one-humped camel collected from Lahore area located in Punjab province of Pakistan. For chemical nutritional analysis, milk samples were subjected for the estimation of various components such as specific gravity, moisture, ash, fat protein, total solids, solids not fat and the metal calcium. The determined amount of calcium by titration method was observed as 701ppm, 530ppm, and 630ppm for Khushab, Sahiwal and Sindhi breeds respectively. Recoveries of all spiked (calibration of method by adding 400 ppm for calcium as calcium carbonate) samples were ranging from 97.0 – 116.0%. The resulted quantities of calcium by atomic absorption spectrophotometer were 470 ppm and 492 ppm for Khushab and Sindhi breeds respectively. The specific gravity was 1.019, 1.022 and 1.018 for Khushab, Sahiwal and Sindhi breeds respectively. The calculated amounts of moisture percentage were 86.64%, 84.38% and 86.13% for Khushab, Sahiwal and Sindhi respectively. The ash percentage was 0.825%, 0.835% and 0.843% for Khushab, Sahiwal and Sindhi breeds respectively. The fat percentage was 4.33%, 4.5% and 5.4% for Khushab, Sahiwal and Sindhi respectively. The calculated amounts of proteins percentage were 4.02%, 4.78% and 4.97% for Khushab, Sahiwal and Sindhi respectively. The estimated amounts of total solids percentage were 13.36%, 13.87% and 15.62% for Khushab, Sahiwal and Sindhi breeds respectively. The solids not fat percentage was calculated as 5.881%, 7.535% and 7.163% for Khushab, Sahiwal and Sindhi respectively.
