Structural study of zinc oxide nanorods, deposited chemically on glass substracts / Yasir - Lahore : Division of Science & Technology, University of Education, 2018 - x, 47 p. CD

ZnO nanorods are developed on simple glass substrate using (CBD) technique
at deposition temperature of 70˚, 80˚and 90˚C. To examine the result of
deposition phase going on the structural and morphological properties, three
ZnO sections are organized at several deposition times i.e. 2, 2.5 and 3 hours.
X-ray diffraction investigation approves the development of a hexagonal
wurtzite-type structure for all sections with an ideal development alignment
beside the c-axis direction, which is observed from intensity of diffraction
peak along (002) plane. Morphology was studied by SEM which tells that the
growth of ZnO nanorods with different dimensions has been achieved. SEM
pictures showed fine and constant nanorods with an unkind length dependent
upon deposition time. The normal distance and length of nanorods is perceived
to be 480 and 510nm. This study will help to understand the part of deposition
time going on the structural and morphological structures of ZnO nanorods
arranged using Chemical Bath Deposition. These ZnO nanorods might have
applications in optoelectronic devices.
